Department of History

History helps citizens understand the present, learning from the past to develop an inspired future. It builds identity and culture among the public to understand their roots. History as a discipline was introduced at KMO College in 2005. Eminent and experienced professors have led the faculty since then. All the former batches from the college have benefited academically to perform well throughout university examinations and other competitive exams as well. Presently, under the FYUG course, Food History and British History are offered as minor papers based on students’ choice.
